About our Heritage Spas

	Heritage understands that choosing your new spa is a major decision for anybody, and there is a lot to consider that is not always immediately apparent. Let’s take a detailed look at just how a Heritage spa is put together.
	Plumbing, insulation and structural integrity are all major factors, along With an easy to use operating system that does what you want With the minimum of fuss. There is a lot of thought, engineering and steel put into every Heritage spa. In fact, every Heritage spa starts With the creation of a galvanised, box steel frame that is the strongest yet lightest frame available in Australasia
	Each section is double welded for increased strength, producing a frame that won’t warp, rot, be attacked by white ants or corrodes due to the galvanising. Unlike other manufacturers in the market place, Heritage simply believes that steel is the only choice for a spa frame!
	The spa shell is moulded from a single piece of Aristech acrylic sheet. The sheet is loaded into the oven and heated to the right temperature
	Acrylic is used because of its great anti bacterial properties, helping to protect the health of your family and friends.
	When the sheet has reached the correct temperature it is removed and vacuum formed into its final shape. Heritage believe in building a spa With structural integrity, and the underside of each spa shell is fully reinforced With fibreglass, resulting in strong, light, armour like protection.
	After the fibreglass has cured, a insulating coat of closed cell foam is applied, delivering excellent thermal protection, lowering noise, and your energy costs by keeping the water warmer for longer. The holes for each jet are then precision drilled ready for the plumbing.
	A generous application of industrial grade silicon is then applied to each jet housing, ensuring no leaks, and of course Heritage guarantee it! The jet housing is the best available, and are individually tested both before and after installation. A final smooth down and it’s off to the plumbers.
	All main water lines are plumbed in 50 mm high pressure piping. This large pipe allows an unrestricted flow to each of the distribution manifolds. The pipe is specially heated to mould perfectly to the spa shell, reducing movement and adding strength while lowering noise.Every step of the process is finished With your family in mind...
	The final step is a quick blast of cold air to set the pipes in place as they cool and set. Like the steel frame, Heritage’s plumbing is unique. Every jet is fed from the distribution manifold using a kanflex hose. The more common clear tubing that is used by other manufacturers across the entire spa is only used to supply air, not water, to the tiny jets used for soft tissue massage.
	This incredibly strong hose was designed specifically to handle chemicals as well as very hot water and will Withstand incredible pressure! The pressure rated solvents and glue are rated to carry heaps more pressure that your spa will ever experience. A final tidy of the lines, and it’s on to attaching the frame.
	The anchor points where the steel frame are attached tho the spa shell is critical, and a Heritage spa has arguably the strongest system on the market!
	Each support is coated With an expanding filler that pack any minor gaps between the fibreglass and the steel. This ensures complete stability of the total package.
	Each steel support is then fibreglassed into position With not just one, but 3 layers! Quiet simply, a Heritage Spa is built to last...
	The other huge advantage of using a steel frame is that the motors can be bolted directly to the frame, With industrial strength rubber engine mounts. This simple yet effective system substantially reduces noise causing vibration! The moulded, raised ABS plastic base was yet another first for Heritage.
	Your new spa’s base is raised 100mm or 4” in the old scale off the ground. This vermin, waterproof base is your first line of defence, keeping the western red cedar cabinet ,and other equipment clear of the ground! A special filler is mixed and spread across the base of the spa that cures to a light, rock hard finish.
	The filler then bridges the gap between spa shell and base, ensuring total support. The base is attached With heavy duty galvanized screws. It’s what you don’t see, or ever think about that makes a Heritage spa superior!
	When the base fill has cured, it’s off to have the electronics fitted and tested, and each and every jet tested under pressure on the test bench.
	And finally the fully insulated cabinet doors are fitted, the spa is detailed and carefully packed and wrapped, ready for dispatch.OK, you now know some of the things that make a Heritage spa the best on the market, but you really need to experience the difference that each model delivers.
